The citizens of Marblehead maintain a regiment in memory of General Glover. Each year, in late January, Glover's Marblehead Regiment commemorates his death. Beginning at the Old Town Hall, a procession passes through the streets of Old Marblehead and makes its way to the Glover tomb on Old Burial Hill. A memorial service is held and concludes with the firing of rounds. |
